Fernando Romero has over 10 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and tax.

Prior to founding Taxnomics, Fernando started his accounting career in NonProfit. He has worked as Accountant with various degree of responsibility for a technology company and another medium size company in the energy sector which annual sales ranged in the multi-million dollars.

Fernando holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) Business Administration degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics from San Jose State University.

Fernando obtained his Tax Preparers license through H&R Block. And he currently is a candidate to obtain the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification, which is "the global benchmark for management accountants and financial professionals."

Fernando founded Taxnomics, which is based in Mountain View, California, during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020 when he experience first hand a reduction of hours at his job. He observed also during 2020 an opportunity to offer his accounting and tax knowledge to individuals and businesses whom their accounting and tax needs were not been met. Taxnomics was founded by Fernando's love of numbers, technology, and the desire to help small businesses, Nonprofit Entities, and members of his community make better sense of their financial data while at the same time enjoying the work on what he loves to do.

In his spare time, Fernando loves to spend time with his wife and two girls. He is an avid jogger and on the weekends he likes to go to family and friends social events.
